The City of Ellisville is pleased to announce Teresa (Terry) Belew as new Code Enforcement Officer.

Terry has over 27 years of service in law enforcement, including a short stint as a reserve officer in Ellisville very early in her career. From 1987 to 2014, Terry moved up the ranks to Detective Lt. Commander of the Criminal Investigation Division with the City of St. Louis Airport Police Department. In 2014 Terry began working as the Senior Security Officer for Tiffany & Company, where her excellent people skills, personable demeanor and keen detective skills were a valued asset.

Terry Belew will work under the direction of the Planning and Community Development Director to enforce compliance of the Property Maintenance Code, nuisance codes and other matters of public concern.  With Terry’s experience and excellent communication, de-escalation and people skills, we are certain the perception of code enforcement in Ellisville will continue to improve.
