Overview
Under the Home Rule charter, the City of Ellisville is comprised of 6 City Council Members; 2 are elected from each of the city's 3 districts. The Mayor is elected at-large by the voters of the city. All elected officials are limited to 2 consecutive 4-year terms. With a current Ellisville population of approximately 9,100 each Council Member represents more than 1,500 residents, while the Mayor (at-large) represents each and every resident.
